Before 1800, the only people who traveled into Jackson Hole were the Shoshoni, Crow, Blackfeet, Bannock, and Gros Ventre, all Native American tribes. Today three major ski areas have made Jackson Hole world famous for excellent skiing and winter sports, while the downtown area caters to an upscale tourist trade.

When reading charts, remember to read from right to left, bottom to top. Odd rows are the right side of the fabric and even rows are the wrong side of the fabric. On the even rows, simple knit the knits and purl the purls!
PATTERN
U.S. 10.5 needles
Cast on 63 stitches
K3, *p2, k3* to end
Row 2 – P3, *k2, p3* to end
Continue in rib pattern for about 4″ ending on a WS row
NOTE: after ribbing, first and last 3 stitches of each row are worked in seed stitch.
Row 1 – k1, p1, k1, work chart 1, p1, work chart 2, p2, work chart 3, p2, work chart 4, p1, work chart 5, k1, p1, k1.
Work 22 rows in this manner.
Break yarn and change to Fur.
Knit every row for 6 rows.
Break Fur and change to yarn.
Work charts for 8 rows in order as described:
Charts 1 and 5: work rows 1-6 and 1-2 again
Charts 2 and 4: work rows 9-16
Chart 3: work rows 1-8
Break yarn and change to Fur.
Knit every row for 6 rows.
Break Fur and change to yarn.
