This beautiful hat has to be the quickest of all quick knits! If bulky yarn is great, then super bulky is even better. These combined Blue Sky Alpacas yarns are a light and cozy blend of alpaca, wool, silk and bamboo, making them the perfect choice to keep you warm on crisp, cool days.

PATTERN NOTES
To get the great crocheted look at the bottom of the hat, use the following cast on:
Make a slip knot on the crochet hook. *Holding your knitting needle in your left hand, bring the yarn behind, then over the needle. Grab the yarn with the hook and make a chain stitch.* Repeat until you have the desired number of cast on stitches minus one, then slip the last stitch from your hook to your needle, and join for working in the round.
If you’re a visual learner (like me!) click here for a link to a great video showing this provisional cast on.

PATTERN
